A note on children's data

Some of our programs involve students under 18. In such cases, we collect and process personal data only with verified parental or guardian consent. We do not track, profile, or target children with advertising, and all student data is handled responsibly and securely.

If you're a parent or guardian and want to know what we hold about your child, or want it removed, write to us. We'll act on it quickly.

02 Information We Collect

Depending on how you engage with CertifiD, we may collect:

Personal Information

From institutions and educators: name, role, institution name, contact details, and program participation data submitted through our partner and program forms

From students: name, age or grade, institution, and competency or certification data tied to a specific program, always routed through the enrolling institution

From donors and CSR partners: name, organisation, contact details, and payment information needed to process a contribution and issue an 80G tax receipt

From website visitors: browsing data such as pages viewed and device type, collected through standard analytics tools

Note on Donation Data

All donation information is handled securely and used only for processing contributions, reporting impact, and maintaining transparency.

03 How We Use Your Data

We use this information to:

  • Run certification programs and issue verified credentials
  • Track and report program outcomes to institutions, partners, and funders
  • Process donations and CSR contributions, including tax receipts under Section 80G
  • Respond to partnership enquiries and onboard new partners
  • Improve our programs and website

We don't use your data for anything beyond what's stated here.

04 How our forms work

Our "Partner With Us" and program registration forms collect information solely for the purpose stated on the form. We access and use the data you provide only to process your request and communicate with you where necessary.

05 Donations and payments

When you contribute to CertifiD, your payment is processed through our payment partner, not stored on our own systems. We retain only what's needed to issue your 80G tax receipt and maintain donor records as required by law.

06 Cookies and analytics

Our website uses standard analytics tools to understand visitor traffic and improve the site. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time.

07 Sharing your information

We share personal data only when it's necessary to deliver our programs, and never sell it. This includes:

  • Enabling partners, such as Datalogics India, for technology and infrastructure delivery tied to a specific program
  • Certification partners, such as Apple, Google, NVIDIA, and Canva, where a program involves their certification or training
  • Payment processors, for donations and contributions
  • Authorities, where required by law

08 How long we keep it

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the program, certification record, or legal requirement it relates to. Certification and credential records may be retained longer to preserve their verifiability.

09 Keeping it safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
